New inspiration, more spread out and spaced with seperate windows for each section
Made a new css file and template page to test it out
Added in some of the box wrapper from this repth template
Toyed around with the settings to remove some of the specific stuff from their theme
Made the whole body have top and bottom padding instead of the individual boxes
Toyed with borders and shadows to get the scroll looking correct and not showing transparent inside the borders
The box shadow still looks strange when it's on the spacebox div, and dissapears when i put it on the grid container
Made only the center text scroll instead of the whole window, this also fixed my box shadow problem
Tried to make the headers appear outside the scroll box and above the windows and MAJORLY broke it so that's an issue for another day
renamed "block-1" to "nav" for acessibility
cleaned up css and made the mobile nav switch over a little sooner

Asked for advice on accessibility and mobile nav, made a list of changes to mess with

Messed around with colors a bit, still not a huge fan
Removed dotted lines & made corners less rounded
When I chnaged the banner images to a transparent texture, I didn't realize they didn't have a background image and it gave me this lovely window effect! I messed with it a bit more, added a real photo background and made it non-scrolling to really show off the effect
tested some rope pngs for borders, I like them but they need to be edited to fix the palette

created the mobile navigation page
added rules for small screens that make headers smaller and sidebar banners thinner
made a new block for the mobile navs that is like the side nav but cleaner
added 200px of padding to the bottom of the main text block, this makes it way less likley for the block to end awkwardly and for you see the bottom of the shape
created a button to link to the mobile nav
made a new class for it, like the other mobile nav buttons but this time not full width
messed around with the css style for this button's link (gettign rid of the underline was annoying for some reason)
it still doesn't display the bottom margin correctly though, and touches the hr beneath it
coppied the new button over to every page
scrollbox just for my dev log very important

Started making new pages! There's a dev log here now
Dotted borders on nav and dotted lines for hr
Messed around with border images to try to get the side borders on the main to work and it was kicking my ASS
Went with a grid column and div system instead
Uploaded the rest of the images and added variables
Yay!!! Variables work!!
Did some LOVELY annotation and cleanup of my template page
Coppied my template back to my home and dev log pages woo
made some test pages for one of each category

After more brainstorming on paper, came back with a solid idea for the navigation
Made the nav into multiple blocks
Created open/closed system that turns the nav blocks into "tabs" which connect to the currently open category
Added header font and played around with header & paragraph css
Moved all the color css into variable file and created multiple classes to define the different categories
These categories are loosely "forest" "fields" "ocean" and "soil" with each being a different ecosystem, but the specifics will get ironed out a little more as I add more little guys and fun effects in there

The background is a notebook paper texture from transparent textures which will change color to match the theme, it's a bit of a placeholder but I like the idea of a notebook
